Our Golf Professionals
David Lackey, PGA Professional, is a native of Orangeburg, SC. A 1990 graduate of the University of South Carolina with a degree in Economics and a minor in Psychology, he returned to Orangeburg and the Country Club of Orangeburg after college to begin his golf career. In 1991, he had the opportunity to assist in opening a new golf course, Porters Neck Plantation, in Wilmington, NC before accepting an assistant professional position in Charlotte, NC at Carmel Country Club. In 1997, David was hired to open the new Ballantyne Resort golf course, also located in Charlotte. David was asked to return to Carmel CC in 2001, where he worked as the Head Assistant Professional before assuming the role of Interim Director of Golf. In 2004, David returned to the club where he started his career as the Head Golf Professional at the Orangeburg Country Club.

To help you accomplish this, we offer a range of fun and informative golf clinics. There are monthly men and women's golf clinics, as well as seasonal clinics for juniors and pee-wees.
